JAMES BERNARD WILCOTT Jr.
James was born amidst nineteen thirty-one within the city of Cleveland and later educated in New York. He joined the United States Army in the course of nineteen forty-eight and served as a military electrician the next decade. The Agency employed James during nineteen fifty-six at headquarters in the role of of Fiscal Accountant Clerk. He was reassigned as support staff to assist Tokyo Station in the Japanese capital amongst the early nineteen sixties.
As nineteen sixty-four passed he returned to headquarters and one year later he was Miami Station’s (JMWAVE) finance branch deputy chief. Wilcott resigned from the CIA during nineteen sixty-six and the next decade he collaborated with former Agency employee Philip Agee to unmask serving intelligence employees. He told congressional investigators during the late nineteen seventies about observing references in official paperwork indicating Lee Harvey Oswald was a CIA operative. Wilcott never produced the required corroborating proof to support these allegations and later discovered evidence challenges them.
